Tania Porcini Mushroom Powder – 125g

This is dried porcini mushroom ground into a fine powder. A teaspoon or two gives soups, sauces, gravies and risotto a deep mushroom flavour, without soaking and chopping dried mushrooms first. Chefs also mix it with salt and pepper as a rub for steak, or stir it into melted butter for pasta. Only a small amount is needed each time, so a 125g pack goes a long way. Keep it tightly closed in a dry place to hold on to the aroma.
