Hainich Mustard Gherkins – 670g

Senfgurken, or mustard gherkins, are a German classic!  Larger cucumbers are peeled, cut into thick pieces and pickled in a sweet-and-sour brine with mustard seeds and dill.  They are firm, mild and a little sweet, a good choice for anyone who finds regular dill pickles too sour.  Serve them with cold meats, sausages or chop them into potato salad.
